Hotel Nacional has a partnership with the GA Beach Tennis School, which offers a Beach Tennis Arena in front of the hotel, at the foot of the Quiosque Nacional, with two exclusive courts. This space is intended for hotel guests and residents of São Conrado, both for free sports practice and for Beach Tennis clinics.
Classes are taught by Professor Geraldo Araújo, Brazilian under-40 champion in 2018 and King of the Beach in 2019, as well as by Professor Fabio Nascimento, coordinator and captain of the Rio de Janeiro State youth Beach Tennis team.

Lessons – R$ 60.00 per person (1 hour lesson)

The Hotel Nacional Rio de Janeiro, an icon of Brazilian architecture and hospitality, was inaugurated in 1972, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, with gardens conceived by Burle Marx. In 1998, it was recognized by UNESCO as a historical and cultural heritage site of humanity.
