São Conrado is dominated by high-class residential buildings and mansion condominiums nestled in the neighboring mountains. It features establishments catering to the premium segment, such as the São Conrado Fashion Mall shopping center and the Gávea Golf & Country Club.
It is located at the southern edge of the city, bordering the neighborhoods of Leblon (South Zone) and Barra da Tijuca (West Zone), and in a strategic position, providing quick access to the city’s main tourist and commercial attractions.
São Conrado beach is considered one of the cleanest beaches in the city and has several kiosks along its entire shoreline offering food service during the day and part of the night. In front of the hotel, the Quiosque Nacional offers a unique service, with a menu created by our chef, creative drinks, and the availability of beach chairs and umbrellas.
The neighborhood’s iconic landmark is Pedra da Gávea, the largest rock formation on the planet’s coastline. From the ramp next to Pedra Bonita, hang gliders or paragliders take off and land on the final stretch of the neighborhood’s coastline, known as Praia do Pepino.
